At Empire Events Group, our creativity doesn’t just bloom indoors…it literally grows right outside our back door.
Nestled right outside of our office, you’ll find a sun-kissed backyard bursting with life. We’re not just talking about a few pots of parsley. We’ve got a full-blown garden growing everything from juicy cucumbers and sweet tomatoes to fragrant basil, rosemary, sage, mint, and chives. It’s lush, it’s vibrant, and yes, it smells amazing.
You might be wondering, “Why does an event company need a garden?” But, the real question is: why doesn’t every office have one?
It’s The Ultimate Midday Refresh
There’s something magical about stepping outside mid-morning, grabbing a few sprigs of mint or chives, and getting a moment of sun and fresh air before diving back into timelines and client calls. It clears the head in a way coffee never quite can (although we still love our lattes).
Our Favorite Garden-to-Desk Snack (pictured below)
One of our favorite perks? The very fresh tomato mozzarella salads we make right from the garden with ripe tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, and fragrant basil drizzled with olive oil and balsamic and sprinkled with “everything but the bagel” seasoning. It’s become a lunchtime ritual that makes us feel like we’re on a European terrace instead of a New Jersey workday.

A Garden Feeds More Than Just Your Belly
Our garden isn’t just about food, it’s about energy. Watching something grow from seed to harvest reminds us of the work we do with our clients: planting ideas, nurturing them with care, and watching them turn into unforgettable experiences.
It’s also a gentle reminder to slow down, even just for a minute. In the fast-paced world of event planning, those moments of quiet such as watering a plant, plucking a ripe tomato, or brushing your hand through a patch of rosemary are tiny resets we didn’t know we needed.
You Don’t Need A Backyard (but we’re glad we do)
If your office doesn’t have a backyard like ours, that doesn’t mean you’re out of luck. A few windowsill planters with herbs, a vertical garden wall, or even a communal plant corner can create the same joy and connection that we experience.
