Supporters of The Kristen Ann Carr Fund gathered once again on June 8, 2025, at the Transparent Clinch Gallery in Asbury Park for the 5th Annual Sunset Jam. This intimate celebration of music, hosted by Jim Rotolo of SiriusXM’s E Street Radio, featured live performances from Gnatural, Shotgun Curly, Alexander Simone, Cranston Dean, Redbird, Joe Edelmann, and a special appearance by gallery founder Danny Clinch. Food and drinks were generously provided by sponsors including Asbury Park Brewery, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Asbury Distilling Co., City Winery, and Main Street Donuts. Catering was provided by longtime KACF friend Amy Barnett of Amy’s Kitchen. The event also featured a silent auction made up of incredible items and experiences.

A Private Musical Event with The Black Crowes, 2025

On May 21, 2025, The Black Crowes lit up the stage with an electrifying private concert at Hard Rock Cafe Times Square, hosted by Nearwater Capital. Nearly 500 guests gathered in the venue’s multi-level Live Space for this exclusive evening, which featured three full-service bars, four curated food stations, a classic hot dog stand, and a gourmet popcorn station—creating a vibrant and immersive experience in the heart of New York City.




91st Annual Drama League Awards, 2025

The 91st Annual Drama League Awards, the nation’s longest-running theatrical honors, celebrated the outstanding achievements of the 2024–2025 theatrical season at the Ziegfeld Ballroom on May 16, 2025. The Awards brought together over 600 guests and featured a 42-person dais showcasing Broadway icons alongside emerging talent. The celebration began with a red carpet press reception and nominee parade, followed by a lively three-course luncheon and the official awards presentation.

A Night to Remember, 2024

On November 16, 2024, the 31st Annual A Night to Remember was a tremendous success, honoring Wendy & Jeff Gendel. Jeff, a sarcoma survivor, was recognized for his resilience and ongoing support of The Kristen Ann Carr Fund’s mission to improve the lives of young adults with cancer. Hosted by Myriad Restaurant Group, the evening featured an unforgettable culinary experience crafted by Executive Chefs from Tribeca Grill, Nobu, Daily Burger, The Bridge at Saugatuck, and Locanda Verde. Guests enjoyed a special acoustic performance by Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem, followed by a high-energy set from NJ-based funk and soul band JO & the Highland Express. The event also included a silent auction and raffle, offering exclusive, one-of-a-kind items and experiences.

Drama at the Disco: A Drama League Benefit was a dazzling success providing guests with an unforgettable night. Third Reprise brought the house down with their incredible Broadway inspired music and were joined on stage for special performances by Jeanna de Waal, Ephraim Sykes, Nikki Renee Daniels, and Jeff Kready. Richard Kind and Craig Bierko added their signature flair hosting casino gaming and a specialty cocktail bar throughout the night. A delicious strolling supper kept everyone fueled as they danced the night away under the disco lights at The Edison Rooftop.

This intimate event featured live music from Shotgun Curly + Gnatural, Acoustic Vibes with Alexander Simone, and Nick Francis & Mike Bernabei from Surfing for Daisy, with a special appearance by Danny Clinch. The evening was hosted by Jim Rotolo of E Street Radio and also included a silent auction featuring unique items and experiences.

Counting Crows rocked the house at Hard Rock Cafe Times Square on May 23rd. With nearly 500 guests in attendance, this private concert event was hosted by our client, Nearwater Capital. American Music Honors, 2024

On April 24, 2024, rock and roll fans gathered at Monmouth University for The Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music’s American Music Honors, recognizing Jackson Browne, Dion DiMucci, John Mellencamp, and Mavis Staples. Award presenters included Bruce Springsteen and Jon Landau and 2023 American Music Honors recipients Steve Van Zandt and Darlene Love. The event featured an exclusive, sponsor only VIP Reception at the historic Great Hall, followed by the awards presentations and performances in the Pollak Theater, both on the beautiful campus of Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ. The event also featured a silent auction featuring high-end items that raised significant funds for the organization.

The evening capped off with a surprise performance from our friend Eddie Vedder who joined the Tangiers Blues Band on stage for a few songs!

The Samfund 15th Anniversary Celebration 2018

May 22nd was an amazing night for The Samfund! Raising nearly $250,000. This event was a 3 hour gastronomic feast with celebrity chefs stations including Tao Restaurants, Tribecca Grill, Factoria de Empanada, Chef Fatima Ali, Lure Fishbar, Harlan Social, Davios Northern Italian Steakhouse & Steves Keylime Pie. Guest enjoyed specialty cocktails from Kobrick Coffee Company, Tito’s Handmade Vodka & Wine from Evaton USA. Inspiring stories were shared from Samfund grant recipients, and Board Chair Steven Bandrowczak was honored with The Samfund Humanitarian Award. ‘

Fans for the Cure honored their 2017 Fans for Life at the 2nd annual All-Star Celebration Dinner on Thursday, February 23, in New York City. At a star-studded gala, more than 400 donors, supporters and friends of the charity came out to thank our Fans for Life Honorees: Mike Thompson, of Rawlings Sporting Goods, Dr. Charles Drake, of Columbia University Medical Center, and Harry Carson, NFL Hall of Famer with the NY Giants.
The celebratory evening featured many sports and entertainment celebrities and an all-star panel discussion “The Way We Were” moderated by Ed Randall and Steve Garvey.

On Thursday, May 19, 2016 Harvest Home celebrated their 23rd Anniversary, with its signature event, “Savor the Season: Uptown” at The Museum of the City of New York. Close to 300 guests were in attendance to sample a variety of signature dishes, desserts, and beverages from ‘best of the best’ chefs and restaurants showcasing the rich and diverse culture of our city through their food. Barbara Brenner from Mt. Sinai, Jordan Barowitz from The Durst Organization and Retired NFL Safety, Erik Coleman were recognizedfor their dedication to serving the community and for their support of Harvest Home.Board member and talk show host of the award-winning OPEN Friday on BronxNet TV Cable Network Rhina Valentin was the Mistress of Ceremonies.






WhyHunger, 2015

Venue: The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, NYC
WhyHunger celebrated their 40th Anniversary on June 23rd at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. EEG produced this 3-course sit-down dinner for close to 350 guests, which kicked off with an extended cocktail reception that featured an exhibit of six 10’ panels depicting key moments in WhyHunger’s 40 years. Guests entered the dining area to a musical tribute to Harry Chapin’s legacy by his brother, Grammy Award-Winning singer/songwriter, Tom Chapin. Grace Potter received the ASCAP Vanguard Award and performed with Warren Haynes. The WhyHunger Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to WhyHunger co-founder and ambassador, Bill Ayres. This magical evening closed out with a stellar performance by the legendary Felix Cavaliere, of The Rascals. Felix received the ASCAP Legacy Award from his friend Paul Shaffer, who then accompanied him for a rousing performance.

May 16th was quite a Night To Remember for The Kristen Ann Carr Fund! Over 400 guests gathered at Tribeca Grill for the 22nd Annual Gala to honor long-lime KACF friend, Thom Zimny. Bruce Springsteen and Nils Lofgren took to the stage for a reunion with several members of the Seeger Sessions Band (now performing as the Tribeca Playboys) and rocked the house. This was the 10th Anniversary of our relationship with KACF and for the third year in a row, Empire Events Group helped this amazing organization raise more than $1 million.

Camp Brooklyn Fund Gala, 2014

The 2014 honorees were former Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Gina Argento, President of Broadway Stages , a solar powered film and television production facility, which is the home to the CBS Emmy Award-winning series, The Good Wife, Blue Bloods, Royal Pains, and many others. The event was held at the 40/40 Club at Barclays Center. We helped CBF raise enough money to send over 80 low-income Brooklyn kids to accredited sleep-away camps this past summer. #SendAKidToCamp

A Night to Remember, 2013

The 20th Anniversary of a Night To Remember for The Kristen Ann Carr Fund was an epic evening.
The auction raised an astounding $550,000, with Bruce Springsteen offering the opportunity for one guest to receive a guitar lesson from him. Empire Events Group helped this amazing organization raise more than $1 million.

Make the Grade Awards Gala, 2013

On Thursday November 21. 2013 Make The Grade Foundation celebrated their 9th Annual Awards Gala presented by “Doctor” Bob Lee of WBLS. This Event was a 300 + person reception at Terrace on the Park in Flushing Meadows Queens with musical performances by Allure, Bradd Marquis, Gerald Alston of the Manhattans, Shaliek, Sheena Lee, Nelson Frank , The Line Dance Kine Kenny J and WBLS personality appearances by Debi B, Earthquake, Deja Vu & Lenny Green.
Mark Brantley, Joseph Gates & Fitzgerald Miller were honored for dedication to serving the community and for their support of Make The Grade Foundation.

Liz Padilla Memorial 5k
Client: Volunteer Lawyers Project
Venue: Park Slope
The 10th Annual Liz Padilla Memorial 5k saw over 250 runners cross the finish line. Athletes and spectators enjoyed bagels from La Bagel Delight, pastries and fruit from Lassen & Henig and coffee from the Park Slope Starbucks. T-Shirts were provided for all participants and showcased 40 Sponsors on the back. The 5k was followed by a kids race for ages 2 – 11 and an awards ceremony for the top male / female runners in age group category.



MOC’s 4th Annual Benefit concert

Venue: Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square
MOC’s 4th Annual Benefit concert featured a headlining performance by multi Grammy Award winning artist Seal. Held at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, there was a VIP reception with meet-and-greet in the New York Room followed by the concert and auction in the live space for 500 guests. Theater-style seating was set on the floor for individual ticket holders while sponsors were seated at tables in the first tier where they enjoyed a buffet dinner. There was standing room on the 3rd level and an open bar for all guests.



NADAP Luncheon

Venue: Grand Hyatt in Grand Central Station
NADAP celebrated 40 years of service to the community with a luncheon at the Grand Hyatt in Grand Central Station. Hosted by ABC Anchorman, Bill Ritter, over 250 guests gathered for a 3-course sit-down meal to honor Randy Mastro, Esq. with “The Lewis Rudin Award”. Three clients were presented with “The Spirit of NADAP” Award in recognition of their accomplishments overcoming addiction, incarceration, poverty and other obstacles on their way to life-changing employment. There was a 30 item silent auction and parting gift from Godiva chocolate.



Pearl River Interfaith Auction

This 800+ guest event brought together the 5 houses of worship from the the town of Pearl River in Rockland County for a reception-style auction event at the Hilton Pearl River. We took over all the ballrooms in the venue to accommodate food tastings from local merchants, a silent auction of over 100 items, a 50 item raffle and a 30 item live auction in the grand ballroom.





Brooklyn CareWorks Casino Night

Casino-style gaming was set up in the Yacht Room at Bridgwaters at the South Street Seaport to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Brooklyn Psychiatric Centers. The Centennial Gala honored 3 members of the Brooklyn Business community with the Borough President and other dignitaries presenting the awards, Citations and Proclamations. Guests feasted on a full gourmet buffet dinner with an open bar and specialty cocktails.
